Dark Matters: Critical Theory of Technology
A zine on technology, surveillance, and racial capitalism by the School for Poetic Computation‘s fall 2019 cohort. Each resident contributed an essay, visual artwork, or poster engaging themes discussed in Dark Matters. Designed by American Artist, Zainab Aliyu, Esther Bouquet, and myself.
Crafted with xerox copies and manila folders, white labels and Ticonderoga pencils, the zine calls to question the everyday ephemera of capitalist labor—materials churned and burned by the opaque and exclusionary machines that shape our world.
Archived at the Museum of Modern Art Library in New York City, 2019.
